My five weird habits o’mine… weird nga ba?

1. I can’t sleep without a music/radio playing.
2. I do sing a lot while working.
3. I use three shades of lipstick at the same time.
4. If mmy-lei was a certified coffee addict… well, am a certified soft drinks adik! Soft drinks before and after eating… depende pa ‘yan kung ilang beses ako kakain.
5. I play my ears while reading.

I love watching movies on big screen! I used to watch movie with my cousin Dot, lahat yata ng movies na sa tingin namin ay maganda, pinapanood namin. I can still remember, she will going to call me here in the office o kaya magte-text siya ng “LFS” then gets ko na kung ano ibig niyang sabihin. But my cousin left the country so ‘di na ako makapanood! But now, it seems I’ve found someone na makakasama ko sa panonood ng sine… sa katauhan ni Anne.
Anne… my college friend and at the same time, she is my officemate. Last time, pinanood namin ni Anne ang movie na The Chronicles of Narnia and it was a nice film! But bago magsimula ang movies of course, ipinapakita ang mga trailers ng mga upcoming movies and one of these movies caught my attention… Captain Jack Sparrow is back and of course… Will Turner too! Yup… Movie staring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom… The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man’s Chest.
I like Orlando Bloom, as long as I can, pinapanood ko mga movie niya. Napanood ko siya as Legolas sa Lord of Rings, 1, 2 and 3. Napanood ko rin siya as Will Turner sa Movie na Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and as Balian in the movie Kingdom of Heaven.
As I said, Orlando Bloom has an upcoming movie, The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man’s Chest at napagkasunduan na namin ni Anne na panonoorin ito, favor din sa kanya because she like Johnny Depp. Anyway… if ever somebody out there wants to join us to watch the film… oks lang… no problem… basta ba pay your own ticket eh… hehehe. Okay… Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man’s Chest… showing on JULY 2006… Don't forget... IT’S A DATE!

CELEBRATION

It was Glenn's birthday yesterday and we celebrated it at Moomba... Though 'di kumpleto ang Editorial's Angels... naging masaya pa rin ang celebration. Check some our pix...

Former officemate namin si Glenn, almost two years na nang iwan niya ang kanyang desk dito sa office at bihira na lang namin siyang makasama, kaya kapag siya ang nagyaya... pagbigyan si "Maldita!" Yeah... Maldita ang trademark ni Glenn, but it doesn't mean na Maldita siya sa lahat ng bagay... cute siyang mag-maldita! Anyway... At kahit nga 'di na namin siya ganu'n kadalas makasama at iba na kanyang "career," siya pa rin si Glenn na dati naming kakilala... Kind, joker... Maldita pa rin pero sweet!

Moving forward... what happened sa gabi ng selebrasyon? Well, food... food... food... beers at walang kasing sayang kuwentuhan. Kuwentuhan na binalikan namin ang mga araw na magkakasama pa kami. Mga unang pagtatagpo rito sa opisina na kapag muling pinag-usapan, my goodness... tatawa at tatawa ka talaga... mga kalokohan, lokohan and the rest of the silly jokes... nakaka-miss, if we could just turn back the hand of time.

THE FAITH WITHIN

Yesterday, January 9, 2006, it was the Feast of the Black Nazarene at Quiapo… and what do you expect… thousands of people of course!

Days before the Feast, iniisip ko na na sana ay makasimba ako at nagawa ko nga!

Last night, Me, Jen and Malaya went to Quiapo to attend the mass. Yup, aware kami kung anong meron sa pupuntahan namin… maraming tao, siksikan, mahaba ang lalakaran and the others. But inspite of that, tumuloy kami! Expected na namin ang mahabang lakaran dahil sa traffic at ‘yun nga ang nangyari, from Recto to Quiapo nilakad namin para makarating ng Quiapo Church kasabay ang sobrang dami ng tao. Buo ang loob namin na makapunta so we don’t care kung hanggang saan ang lalakaran.

Last year din... nakipagsisikan na ako sa Feast ng Black Nazarene! I admit na may hiniling ako sa Kanya noon... and believe it or not... na-grant yun! So Dapat lang na bumalik ako sa Kanya to give thanks naman.
Quiapo Church… at first, nasa labas lang kami habang nagmimisa dahil sa sobrang dami ng tao… but, dahil sa tiyaga, pagpupumilit and FAITH na makapasok ng Simbahan, nagawa naming makalapit sa pintuan ng Simbahan. At dahil din sa kagustuhang makapasok para pagpasok ng Poon sa Simbahan ay makita namin. Nagkaroon kami ng chance na makapasok nang mag-communion na… pero makikipagsiksikan ka pa rin talaga. Because Jen can’t stay long in a very crowded place dahil madali siyang mahilo, so she decided to stay sa isang corner na ‘di siya masisiksikan at dahil makikipagsiksikan na talaga kami ni Malaya para makapunta sa harap, I decided na iwan na lang ang bag ko kay Jen.
Makikipagsiksikan na para makapasok… at nagawa namin na makapasok at makalapit sa aisle ng Simbahan, para kapag nag-bless ay ma-bless din kami. Tapos na ang mass, papasok na ang mga debotong sumama sa prosisyon dala ang flag ni Señor Nazareno. Siksikan at mahirap pero kakaiba ang saya na naramdaman ko that time… kakaiba ang pakiramdam while everybody inside the Church are singing the Nuestra Padre Nazareno, clapping and shouting Viva! Punumpuno ang Simbahan, super siksikan na talaga as in ‘di ka na makakakilos pa dahil ang hirap, I don’t care that moment kung ano na ayos ko, kung gulu-gulo na ba ang buhok ko or what, but one thing for sure, ang sarap ng pakiramdam lalo na nang, nagawa naming makahawak kahit dun lang sa flag ng Señor Nazareno. That moment/that night... ang sarap ng feeling, ‘di mo mararamdaman na nasasaktan ka na sa sobrang nasisiksikan ka na ng maraming tao… I feel so blessed!
Moving forward… lalabas na kami ng Church, nabalikan na namin si Jen kung saan namin siya iniwan at nakalabas kami ng church after 10 years, nagtirik ng kandila, nag-pray! Dahil sa sarado ang kalsada sa Quiapo, no choice again kundi maglakad… so from Quiapo hanggang Morayta na ang nilakad namin, but me, dahil malapit na rin lang ang inuuwian ko sa may Morayta… pagsakay nina Malaya at Jen, itinuloy ko na ang paglalakad hanggang bahay and promise… di ako naramdam ng pagod… basta ang nararamdaman ko pagdating ng bahay… I feel do blessed and happy!

Pasensiyoso... Matigas kasi ulo ko kasi... 'yung kayang i-handle ako, 'yung tipong kapag inis ako... kampante lang siya. Kapag nabwibwisit ako, nakatingin lang siya sa akin, tapos kapag ngumiti siya, mawawala na kabwisitan ko. Kapag malungkot/may problema ako, 'di siya masyado nagbibigay ng advice pero lagi siyang nandun, nakikinig and to comfort me (laging nakayakap kaso 'wag naman 'yung PDA).
