CONTROL OF YOUR HEART

A wise and understanding heart does not repay a hurt with a hurt. In doing so, the heart is diminished. Fissures form. Love leaks out. Every pain given in return for one received, changes the contents of the heart. It is no longer defined by love, wisdom and understanding. The bearers of hurt and hate, pain and prejudice, meanness and madness, sorrow and sadness redefine it. You give away control of your very own heart.

Overcoming it, not clinging to the hurt and inflicting more of it on the world heal the despair of being hurt. When darkness is added to darkness, no one can see, no one can love. Everyone loses.

Love is not always warm and fuzzy. Sometimes it's the integrity we hold on to when we're tempted to strike back. Sometimes it's the honor that keeps us from exchanging the valuable contents of our heart for the harsh satisfaction of lashing back.

No, the way of love is not always easy, but when night falls, dawn is assured.

The integrity and honor of a wise and understanding heart, rises with the sun of a new day.

"Because you have asked for understanding to discern judgment. I have given you a wise and understanding heart." 1 Kings 3:11-12

STITCHES AND BURN

Time after time
Nothing that I can do
Knowing your ways and loving your ways
But not getting through at all
Day after day
Leaving the past behind
Coming to terms with stitches and burn
Learning to fly again

MOTHER'S DAY

In 1907 Ana Jarvis, began a campaign to establish a national Mother's Day. Ms. Jarvis persuaded her mother's church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate Mother's Day on the second anniversary of her mother's death, the 2nd Sunday of May.
Ms. Jarvis and her supporters began to write to ministers, businessman and politicians in their quest to establish a national Mother's Day. It was successful as by 1911 Mother's Day was celebrated in almost every state.
President Woodrow Wilson, in 1914, made the official announcement proclaiming Mother's Day as a national holiday that was to be held each year on the 2nd Sunday of May.

SUNDAY
MOTHER’S DAY!

It happens only once in a year, don’t let this special day pass by without telling our mother how special they are and how grateful we are for having such a loving mother like them. It is the best time to tell our mother how much we love them and how much we care for them. Don’t forget to say thank you for their unconditional love and to all the sacrifices that they’ve done for us. A bouquet of flowers will do, a card with a simple message that is true and it has sincerity or a kiss will surely make your mother smile.

To all the mothers out there...
This is your day!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

A SONG FOR MAMA
BOYZ II MEN

You taught me everything
And everything you've given me
I always keep it inside
You're the driving force in my life, yeah

There isn't anything
Or anyone I can be
And it just wouldn't feel right
If I didn't have you by my side

You were there for me to love and care for me
When skies were grey
Whenever I was down
You were always there to comfort me
And no one else can be what you have been to me
You'll always be you always will be the girl
In my life for all times

Mama, mama you know I love you
Oh you know I love you
Mama, mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like
Tears from the stars
Mama, I just want you to know
Lovin' you is like food to my soul

You're always down for me
Have always been around for me even when I was bad
You showed me right from my wrong
Yes you did

And you took up for me
When everyone was downin' me
You always did understand
You gave me strength to go on

There was so many times
Looking back when I was so afraid
And then you come to me
And say to me I can face anything
And no one else can do
What you have done for me
You'll always be
You will always be the girl in my life

Mama, mama you know I love you
Oh you know I love you
Mama, mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like
Tears from the stars
Mama, I just want you to know
Lovin' you is like food to my soul

EXHAUSTED DAY OUT... YET, STILL BLISSFUL!

April 30, 2005... outing in Laguna with my officemates/friends and it was a hotheaded trip because of the heavy traffic. It took us 3 hours driving before we reached our destination. Around 8:00 in the evening when we started our trip but guess what... it's already 12:00 midnight when we arrived to our target location.
Though it caused me back pain, yet, it was a blissful trip. My friend Glen and I spent the whole night together. Through our conversation it shows that we really missed each other... never-ending laugh, jest and teasing each other eased the dullness of the entire night wherein we forgot to take a nap.
As the sun shines, taking some hilarious pictures was one of our crazy trips. Pictures here, there and everywhere and in any angle, what's important is we have pictures.

SUNDAY MORNING... TIME TO GO HOME!

Sunday morning... time to go home! Everybody is sleepy, but still, as you can see, we can still put smile in our face. EXTRA CHALLENGE because most of us didn't take a nap kaya palakihan ng eye-bags ang labanan and guess what, we still have work, in short, (suicide!) even though we're fading, we have to go to work and squeeze our brain! Anyway... Naka-survive naman lahat, nakapagtrabaho nang mabuti at maayos! Posted by Hello
